Chase started as a Barista at 18 and worked his way up to an apprentice roaster, he gradually moved himself into design and marketing with subsequent cafes and roasters. He has found the perfect blend of his passions: coffee, graphic design & marketing and continues to offer those services for the coffee industry and non-industry clients. Jennifer also started as a Barista at 18 and discovered her passion for coffee during an espresso class at Counter Culture. Soon after, she began a coffee blog, Daily Demitasse, to educate and share her experience with other passionate coffee enthusiasts.
Experience
After going to school for English, discovering Secrets Of Strategic Copy writing, and working in various independent cafe’s, Jennifer knew she wanted to work within the coffee industry. She has taken the beginner and intermediate espresso classes at Counter Culture Coffee in Durham, NC. She has trained baristas, advised independent cafes with marketing strategies, written newsletters, fliers and web copy. She even tutored English, edited papers for college students, and business material for customers.
